The POLY PIR sensor switches on when someone moves

inside the detection field and after approximately 180
seconds with no movement, automatically switches off
the luminaires connected to the control module, even
with the door open.

The POLY IR sensor in limit-switch mode turns on the

luminaires when the door is opened.

With the on-off and dimmer set-up, the POLY IR sensors

are switched on and off and the brightness of the
luminaires can be adjusted simply by moving a hand near
the sensor.

The sensor can be installed recessed or on the surface with the

support supplied as standard.

POLY is a multiple sensor electronic control system for LED luminaires. The electronic control
module, only 18 mm thick, is connected between the power supply and the lamps (both 12Vdc
and 24Vdc), and can host up to 3 sensors of the various models available: infra-red proximity
sensors and pyrolytic sensors. The control module integrates a set-up button with which the
function can be selected at any time - from back-door sensor to ON-Off.

The control module comes with factory set-up for the use of the POLY IR sensor in limit switch
mode and of the POLY PIR motion sensor switch.

CHANGE OF SET UP

The control module comes with factory set-up for the use of
the POLY PIR sensors and of the POLY IR sensors in limit switch
mode. The set-up can be changed by simply pressing the button
on the control module. By pressing the button once, the set-up
with POLY IR sensor ON-Off and dimmer function is activated.
By pressing the button again, the factory settings of the POLY IR
(proximity) sensors and POLY PIR (motion) sensors are restored.

LIMIT SWITCH SET- UP

The POLY IR sensors connected to the control module with a

standard set-up activate the switching ON and Off of the
luminaires in soft-on and soft-off mode (fade 2.5”) when the
doors are opened and closed. The control module features
an automatic switch-off function, activated after 20 minutes of
continuous functioning. Opening even only one of the doors to
the units on the back of which a sensor has been installed, all
the luminaires connected to POLY ECB switch on. They switch off
when all the doors are closed.

ON-OFF SET-UP

With the ON-Off and dimmer set-up, the luminaires connected to

the control module are turned on and off and dimmed simply
by moving your hand close to the sensor. A rapid movement
immediately switches the light on or off (fade 1”), whereas the
constant presence of the hand in front of the sensor enables
the brightness to be adjusted. This configuration enables the
luminaires to be switched ON and Off from different points.

Infra-red pyrolytic sensor wired with 2000 mm cable for recessed
installation.

The POLY PIR sensors connected to the control module with

a standard set-up activate the switching on and off of the
luminaires in soft-on and soft-off mode (fade 2.5”) when the
doors are opened and closed. When no movement occurs within
the detection field, after approximately 180 seconds the luminaires
switch off automatically, even when the door is open. The light
switches ON when any one of the doors is opened, while to enable
switch-off, all the doors must be closed.
