The purpose of this assignment is to assess your awareness and knowledge of equality and
inclusion in health, social care, children and young people’s settings.

Scenario

Equality and inclusion are extremely important in health, social care, children and young people’s
settings. You are to provide an information pack for employees working in health and social care and
children’s and young people’s settings to develop their understanding of the effects of discrimination
and some of the factors that can influence equality and the inclusion of individuals.
