BEYOND BLUE ORGANIZATION

Defeat depression anytime, anywhere. Do your part.

MISSION
Depression is common nowadays, and at the worst
situations, it can lead to death. The mission of
“Beyond Blue” is to help everyone, everywhere, to
cope with depression, get people well and prevent
suicide. In other words, to promote optimal mental
health through different advocacies, education and
support.

VISION
Our vision looks forward to the day when the
burden of suffering this illness is substantially
reduced for those with depression, when we
understand the cause of it, and when the stigma
finally breaks.
TARGET GROUP
The organization would focus on three major target
groups: families, adults and teens, and children.
Depression is known to be a global crisis, affecting a
variety of people with different ages, gender and status.
Whether you are a child of six years old or even an adult
at thirty years, people still tend to experience this illness.

First, children. The organization would of course consider

to orient children at an early age to develop their minds
and hearts as early as possible and live better lives in the
future.

Next, teens and adults. Yes, this is the stage where most
people experience depression. This is the stage of
meeting and being with a lot of different people. It is a
great group to orient with since the generation of teens
and adults today are very influential and prone to
depression.

Lastly, families. Why? Well, families are a major help to

children, teens and adults who are facing depression. By
orienting them on how to help stop depression or
prevent its fire from starting, their influence could
change lives for the better as well.
PROJECTS
There will be 3 projects: Project Love and Beyond,
Project Hope and Beyond, & Project Faith and Beyond.
All these projects have a single goal — to fight fears,
break the stigma and rise for the best lives.

Project Love and Beyond would have a family audience,

Project Hope and Beyond would have teens and adults as
its audience and the Project Faith and Beyond would
involve children as the audience.

The three projects share the same programs which

involve orientations, trainings, sessions, and activities
which could educate the minds of these people toward
what depression really is and how we could defeat it.
One example is to invite professionals (doctors,
psychologists, psychiatrists) to have talk therapies
through the said sessions and orientations with people.
Activities such as zumba, mini parties and self-care time
could improve one’s mental, social, physical, and spiritual
being.

Another goal is to invite researchers to find out the best

healing processes each person could have through simple
survey and social experiments. In that way, self and
social interaction could be improved.
We assure the feeling of being loved and cared for would
be felt by these people in need. Constant check ups upon
them would also be provided. The purpose of having
three separate projects with same programs is because
of the audience itself. People experience different things
yet have similar experiences when they are of the same
age brackets. This is to be certain and specific on how to
reach the goal. Different ages, different types of
situations, but one common goal — to break the stigma
and show what’s beyond blue. Fight your fears and wipe
those tears!
