Fibromyalgia screening tool

This table shows the 2011 modification of the 2010 American College of Rheumatology Preliminary Diagnostic
Criteria for Fibromyalgia. Criteria for the diagnosis of fibromyalgia include the following:
Widespread pain index (WPI) >7 and symptom severity (SS) scale >5 or WPI 3 to 6 and SS scale >9
Symptoms have been present for at least three months
There is no other disorder that would explain the patient's symptoms
