The paddle of death

If entering a college requires an entrance examination, joining a fraternity, sorority,

or any gang, you need to surpass all the challenges first which the members of the
organization believe will make you full pledge associate. Through numerous initiation rites
and dangerous activities, death and suffering interferes through the process.
Affiliating to a certain organization requires a vigilant attitude. You must be aware of
all the happenings and negotiations conducted by the organization because at the end of
the day, as a member you will also gain the benefit by what your organization is
implementing, either it is for good or not. Fraternities, sororities and gangs already take
their space to our society. A lot of high profile individuals reiterate that executing initiation
rites is part of their training but it is not as brutal to what is happening now.
Youth are the vulnerable ones and is continuously affected. Based to what I’ve
encountered, they have a feeling of superiority and power being part of their own
fraternity. Not until everything they have, they’ll loose it -- the education, family, and the
future that awaits them.
It is not bad if we affiliate ourselves to these organization, however, let’s try to
assess and be reminded to what the organization is really for. Joing such is a battle of life
and death. Value your life because if it will be taken away from you, you cannot take it back
anymore. These organization shouldn’t only focus on making their sovereignty but
redirecting their ways towards helping their members and subsequently share it to the
community.
