BEKA Xmatic Controller S
Description
The BEKA Xmatic S control unit is used for controling
single line systems. The lubricant is supplied to the
metering distributors via one main line. This line is
pressure relieved after the lubrication process.
Please see chapter 03 of our industrial catalogue for
basic information about single-line lubrication.

Function
The integrated electronic EP-tronic control unit has a
data memory. It serves for the storage of expired
parameters, among other things. When the supply
voltage is interrupted during lubrication or a cycle,
the cycle time, lubrication time, the number of
lubrication cycles, resp. the revolutions is stopped
and recorded. As soon as the supply voltage is
provided again, the remaining lubrication or cycle
time is read from the memory and the operational
sequence is continued from where it has been
interrupted.
Intermediate lubrication
With provided voltage you can any time activate an
intermediate lubrication by actuation of the push
button at the lower motor shell of the pump, for e.g.
checking the function after a change of the
parameters. The pump will immediately start with a
new lubrication cycle then. The expired or stored
lubrication or cycle time is resetted and starts anew.

The GIGA-multitronic control device is an integrated
unit for the grease lubrication pumps of the series
GIGA (suitable for progressive system) and GIGA
PLUS (suitable for all lubrication systems).
Technical data
All operational states and messages are shown on Supply voltage: 10 to 60 V DC
the display at the motor cover. The particular Max. current load: I = 6,0 A
parameters can be changed at the operation panel Fuse (not enclosed): F 6,3 A

Intermediate lubrication
With applied voltage, an intermediate lubrication can
any time be triggered at the operation panel below
the display, even with the interlock function being
active (see „release / interlock function“). You might
want to do so e.g. for checking the function after a
change of the parameters. The pump will
immediately start a lubrication cycle then. The
expired or stored data by then is reset and started
anew.
Level monitoring
On customer request, the pumps can also be
equipped with an electronic level monitoring function
for minimum level.

Function N/O contact
Pressure switches serve for monitoring purposes in The membrane (2) is pressurized via the pressure
central lubrication systems, like e.g. the connection (1). If the compressive force is higher
pressurization as well as relief functions. They emit than the preloaded force of the compression spring
signals for the control of pumps and pump units. (3), the piston (4) moves towards the second contact
(6) and thereby catches the contact disk (5). The
circuit is closed. When the pressure decreases by
the hysteresis value, the switch will open again.

Hysteresis (switching pressure difference) means
the difference between the increasing and the
decreasing pressure. For the case that hysteresis is
not adjustable, it results from the switch set-up.
