1. What is the relevance of ICT in your chosen course?


- ICT is becoming more developed as the years go by and has a great integration in
different areas. In our course, ICT is very relevant to us, because it helps us to be
more creative, flexible, and reliable. It is creative because we can create various
ways and Ideas with the use of technology and ideas that are very effective in
teaching. With the use of ICT, it helps us to be flexible wherein we should not be
using only one resource and the same activities for every learner, it helps us to be
more capable of giving information and help them to think critically. ICT has
become one of the most reliable sources of information nowadays, it helps the
learners to improve their knowledge not only in school. We as learners and future
educators are relying on ICT.

2. Name at least 4 uses of ICT in your own daily lives and explain.
i. Communication with my friends and family. Anytime and anywhere, I can
communicate with them with the use of ICT.
ii. Access to information. Every time I am curious about something, ICT is one that I
can rely on. By just typing the questions there are different answers that appear that help
me gain more knowledge and develop my skills.
iii. Leisure Time. If I am bored, I can use ICT by watching my favorite dramas, playing
my favorite games, and reading stories.
iv. New Skills. On a daily life basis, as ICT continues to develop, we tend to learn new
skills from different people that have advanced knowledge of ICT.

3. Give 5 positive impacts and 5 negative impacts of ICT in our society.


POSITIVE IMPACT
- ICT allows us to have access to information.
- ICT gives us more job opportunities.
- ICT helps us discover skills.
- ICT allows us to improve our access to education.
- ICT helps us communicate on a wider scale.
NEGATIVE IMPACT
- ICT is prone to disinformation and misinformation.
- ICT reduced the physical interaction of people.
- ICT lessens the job for the people.
- ICT makes people lazy.
- ICT affects the health of the people.
