A LOOK BACK
2017, AN IMPRESSIVE YEAR FOR SRI CITY

Sri City, comprising of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for companies looking at cater-
ing to the global markets primarily through exports, a Domestic Tariff Zone (DTZ) for
companies targeting the domestic market, a Free Trade and Warehousing Zone
(FTWZ), and an Electronic Manufacturing Cluster, all within its precincts, is one of the
best operational and fast growing integrated business cities in the country. Probably,
it is the only business city in Andhra Pradesh which is at the top of mind recall of
investors across the globe. Since inception, Sri City has been evoking great interest
amongst the international business community, and with in a short stint of time, with
the steady influx of global corporate companies, it has become a well established
name among the distinguished corporate entities in India.

Commenting on the performance of Sri City during 2017, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy,
Founder Managing Director, Sri City said, “Much like the yesteryears, 2017 too has
been a splendid year for us. It has been a busy year as it had witnessed important
events & developments, such as groundbreaking ceremonies, plant inaugurations,
visits of foreign diplomats, dignitaries and top government officials, tours of business
delegations, meetings and seminars etc.,”

“During the year Sri City has attracted 19 new customers at a committed total invest-
ments worth of Rs. 3146.5 crores. All put together, during January - October there
were exports worth of about Rs. 659 Crores from Sri City units,” he added.

Sri City Sub Post Office Inaugurated

Kurnool Region Director of Postal services Mr. V Santhana Raman,
IPS inaugurated and dedicated the Sri City sub-post office to the

Four-lane Central Expressway Inaugurated in Sri City

The 9-km Central Expressway, that connects NH-16 intersection
and the Customs Point, designed as a four-lane road, was inaugu-
rated by Mr. Narasimhulu, Circle Inspector of Police, Satyavedu

Sri City Fire Station starts operations

Mr. P.S.Pradyumna, IAS, District Collector, Chittoor inaugurated the
facility in the presence of Mr. K. Satyanarayana, IPS, Director
General, AP Fire & Disaster Management.
