Scope and Content

Peerless Wire goods was founded by Edwin R. Clegg, Christopher Wiselogel, and Ernest H.
Schilling in 1910 and it produced wire baskets, racks, and other wire products for commercial
refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning businesses. The company operated from
1910 until 1972 when they were acquired by Insilco.
