Last weekend, my friend, James and I decided to go fishing in the sea. We rented a boat at the beach.
James and I were both not good at rowing but somehow managed to row out to the middle of the sea. We
then started fishing and caught a lot of fish. Suddenly, the sky became dark. James wanted to go back but I did
not want to. I felt that we still had time.
It was a bad decision. Soon, it started to rain. We then decided to row back when it started raining
heavily. There was thunder and lightning too. The water became very choppy.
Suddenly, we were hit by a big wave and it overturned our boat. We both held on desperately to the boat.
As the rain abated, we saw a rescue boat in the distance. We waved at it. Thankfully, the rescue team saw us.
We were so grateful to be rescued. I vowed to be more careful next time I go fishing in the sea.

Last Sunday, my friend, Dina and I decided to go jungle trekking. We wanted to take photos of the flora and
fauna in the jungle.
Dina and I went to a jungle that was not too far from my house. Dina suggested we hire a guide but
I was against the idea. I felt I knew my way around the jungle as I had been there a few times already.
We started our jungle trek about eight in the morning. We had a wonderful time admiring nature and
taking photos.
Soon, it was time to go back. I then realised that I had no idea where we were. We tried using our
mobile phones but unfortunately there was no reception. We were out of the phone coverage area.
Feeling worried, we walked around aimlessly hoping to find our way out. After many hours, a forest
ranger found us.
Dina and I were so grateful to be found. I vowed to hire a guide the next time I go jungle
trekking.
