Section 4: Inquiry Research and Exploration
Research/Professional Learning (Identify two articles that have informed inquiry focus. Provide title, URL or citation, and statement of what was learned.)
Article One – This article was a good look and starter on how to integrate technology
into the classroom. This article makes some points on why technology should be used
in the classroom. Sometimes we assume students know technology, but in reality, that
don’t. As educators we can bring that into the classroom that can then help them
prepare for the workforce. This article also give some simple but helpful ideas like
Article One interactive whiteboards to more complicated tools to create videos or student-created

Article Two – Article two also focuses on how to use technology in the classroom. This
article was interesting because it focused on a few different topics. First, the article
discussed how to use tech in the classroom. But also provided some good questions
that educators should ask themselves about technology. Such as “How will tech help

Link to Article focused on the student and their learning. Second this article discussed the benefits.
Some benefits that were mentioned were how technology allowed students to take
control of their own learning. Another is that it can help with engagement and also
help students learn to problem-solve. Thirdly this article provided some examples of
technology that can used in the classroom and told to make lessons more interactive.
