Prayer is a thing that can be observed throughout many religions but it is not as simple as
just closing your eyes, folding your hands, or kneeling and bowing down. Prayer has a deeper
meaning and it is the time when we connect ourselves with God. Through prayer, we can express
our thoughts and feelings to God, as well as our difficulties and pleas for His assistance. We pray
to express our gratitude to God for all the blessings he has given us. God also uses prayer to
communicate with us as well, teaching us to give importance to him as a result. Nowadays, many
people forget to pray to God and only do so when they are having difficulties. Due to people losing
faith, the connection to God is slowly faltering. For some people, prayer is becoming egocentric;
they just ask for their advantages, and once they receive the benefits, they stop praying. On the
brighter side, ever since the pandemic started, many people started praying and trying to reconnect
themselves to God. People called the pandemic “Test of Faith” and even if the churches are close,
we can freely pray inside the comfort of our homes. In this way, there will be no one sided
relationship between us and God. We reconnected and seen the value of praying in our lives.
The Bible is a collection of different books that was written by humans, specifically men,
to record the experiences and events of God's revelation. They recorded how they saw and
experienced God’s dealings, as well as their response, recollections, and interpretations of those
encounters. The two major divisions of the Bible: The Old Testament and the New Testament, in
which the Old Testament contains God’s covenant with the people of Israel and the promise of
salvation while the New Testament contains the fulfillment of this promise in Jesus Christ. In this
day and age, where technology is thriving in our society, people tend to be on their phones and
forget the existence of the Bible. There are more reason like life obligations, some people are too
busy to even reflect the writings of the Bible but there is always positive things in negativities. If
people don’t have a Bible in their homes, with the help of technology, they can now access digital
Bible without any worries. In this way, they can finally reflect the life of God again.
The Creation Story tells how God created the whole universe in the span of seven days.
He separated the light and darkness which he named day and night. He made the sky, sea, and
land, where humans and different kinds of animals can thrive. It is said that every creation of God
is interconnected and serves a purpose to one another. We so-called humans are the stewards of
God’s creation; we are taken accountable for taking care of the environment and any living things
that are present in it. God entrusted us with his creations; therefore, we must fulfill our duty as a
steward of nature. Yet we can observe today that we are experiencing many environmental
problems like pollution, deforestation, extinction of species, global warming, climate change, and
many more. These problems are caused by us, humans, who are supposed to be the stewards of
God’s creation. The act of wrongly throwing garbage in random places, cutting trees, and not
replanting them can lead to a devasting change in our environment. It is the consequence of our
actions, the act of disobeying God’s commands to take very well of his creations. But it is not too
late to make a change. Practice caring and help restore nature with simple acts like learning to

properly segregate waste, using reusable and eco-friendly items, conserving water, and many
more. With this, we can once again earn our title of stewards of nature, and this time, we are truly
taking care of God’s creation.
