ASSESSMENT – RECITATION
1. How can you practice practically the 3R’s (reduce, reuse, and recycling) at home. Give
concrete.
→ I practically practice the 3Rs by reusing reusable products like echo bags for gathering
and moving things or for simply doing groceries. When I need to buy food, I will always
bring my own tupperware to reduce using plastic to pack my food. I also use a tumbler
instead of always buying bottled water because not only it reduces the usage of plastics
it will also save me money. I reduce using electricity by not using my electric fan at
night since my place is already cold. Lastly, since it is the Christmas season, my family
recycles big soft drink bottles into decorations like parol and other Christmas
decorations.

2. Among different renewable resources, which do you think is the most applicable in our country
and why?
→ I think the most applicable renewable resource to use in our country is solar energy
because our country is near the equator where sunlight is most received. Nowadays,
our country is facing extreme heat from the sun so we can take this as an advantage
to use solar energy and convert it to energy like electricity. Not only we can save
energy but we can also reduce pollution and the consumption of non-renewable
energy. It can be the solution to stop nuclear power plants and lean into a more
environmentally friendly solution.
