    Dear Sir or Madam,

    Application for the role of waiter

    I noticed your online advertisement for a waiter during the summer months and am writing to
    apply for the post.

    I have finished compulsory education, and in July, I will also finish my second year of high school.
    But until I graduate high school, I would still like to support myself financially.

    I have experience working in a restaurant. Last summer, I spent seven weeks as a waiter in a
    small restaurant in my hometown. Furthermore, I believe I possess all the necessary personal
    qualities for the post. I am hard-working, polite, and reliable.

    I am enclosing my CV, including full contact details. I can send references on request. If I pass my
    exams in May, I will be available to start work in July.
