Brief: I will make a phone stand to prop my phone in its case up on a desk.
Function: The phone stand can securely hold one phone in place on a desk.
Customer: The phone fits the customer’s Pixel in a case which has dimensions
of 150 mm x 75 mm x 15 mm.
Stability: The phone stand does not tip over when the phone is placed in it.
Durability: The phone stand is strong enough to last.
i.) The stand can hold the phone’s weight without breaking.
ii.) The stand can fall from desk height without breaking (without the use
of excessive speed or force).
Safety: The phone stand does not have any edges sharp enough to cause harm to
the customer.
i.) All the edges have a minimum filet of 0.5 mm.
Material: The phone stand is 3D printed using PLA.
i.) The phone stand is printed using medium quality (0.2 mm) filament
thickness.
Resources: The phone stand does not use a ridiculous amount of filament.
i.) When printed with a wall and top/bottom thickness of 0.8 mm and a
20% infill density, the phone stand requires 12.21 meters of filament.
Angle: The screen of the phone is at an angle of between 95 and 175 degrees
from the desk.
Weight: The phone stand is light enough to hold in one hand.
i.) The phone stand weighs ~36 g.
Orientation: The phone stand can hold the phone in both landscape and
portrait orientation.
Construction: When printed, the phone stand does not have any hanging pieces
of filament.
