Since the State Legislature was not in session and immediate legislat
ive action was necessary to

Scheduled Tribes 'arid Other Backward Classes) (Amendment)
Ordinance, 2012 (
2012) was promulgated by the Governor on May 07, 2012.

- The Uttar Pradesh Public Services (Reservation for Scheduled

Castes, Scheduled Tribes and
Oth ackward Classes) (Amendment) Bill, 2012 is introduced accord
ingly to replace the aforesaid
Ordinance.
