1. a. The style used in the conversation is CASUAL. This can be proved from the following points:
1) The diction used in the dialog is less formal and friendly, for example: I thought, I guess, I feel
like, I guess, to go numb, etc.
2) Some auxiliaries are written in short form, for example: It’s ...., What’s...., That’s....
3) The use of simplified grammar, for example: I thought so, too.; Why not?
4) The use of cliche: for example:I feel like my toes are starting to go numb.

b. The topic of the conversation is about the misinformation of the weather forecast.

2. Describing a place
I would like to tell you about my office. I am working as an education advisor in a private
company in Pangkalpinang. The office is located in the city center, not far from Depati Amir airport.
It takes only about ten minutes from the capital city, Pangkalpinang. I would say that my office is
very interesting since everything is well-designed. As you can see in the picture, we have a very large
room, seperated by simple partitian, with main color used is white. This turns our working area feel
so cosy and bring s positive vibes for the employees. I believe that the owner of our company has
designed this to support the spirit of the workers because when we feel comfortable with the working
room, we would do the tasks in high mood and makes us feel at our own home.

c. The memo is an invitation to all staff of the company to join for a baby shower party,
held by the manager, for Ashley Johnson before she leaves on maternity leave.
