Sustainable office building cleaning products

Sustainability in cleaning is defined as reducing or eliminating the environmental impact

of your cleaning practice while maintaining or even improving effectiveness and efficiency.

Cleaning and sterilizing surfaces no longer require harsh chemicals; environmentally friendly

solutions are just as effective (Chen et al., 2019).

Osmo Wash and Care Wood Floor Cleaner

Cleaner for Osmo Polyx®-Oil-treated is used for cleaning wooden and cork floors.

Varnished, PVC and other water-resistant materials can also be used. This efficient and water-

soluble product can achieve fast and easy floor maintenance even in high-traffic areas. This

product's natural oil component keeps wooden floors well-moisturized. They employ food-safe,

natural ingredients for the base of their finishes, such as sunflower, soy, linseed and thistle oil.

This is healthy for customers as well as the wood they are finishing. Osmo products contain a

white spirit that has been disaromatized to guarantee that finishes spread quickly, eliminating the

It can only be used on surfaces that can be washed. Various variables, including

humidity, air movement, penetration depth, moisture content, mildew, and mould, all influence

Vinegar

In terms of household cleaners, vinegar is one of the best all-in-ones. The acetic acid in it

cleans rapidly and without a lot of scrubbing, leaving your wood safe and clean. It hardly lasts

for a few hours at most. When it comes to cleaning, vinegar can be used on everything from hair

to wood floors. The vinegar's fragrance usually dissipates after a few hours of drying.

To avoid the pungent vinegar odour, you can substitute Apple Cider Vinegar for the

white variety. A mildly pleasant aroma comes from the fact that it is manufactured by fermenting

apple juice, which gives it the same cleaning capabilities as white vinegar. Use a small amount of

water to dilute the apple cider vinegar before cleaning it. Vinegar's smell might persist for up to

an hour after washing with it. If you're looking for a non-toxic, natural, and environmentally-

friendly cleaning, this may be a minor price. Adding a few drops of essential oil, such as

lavender or peppermint, to a vinegar water solution in a spray bottle will help mask the smell.

Disadvantages of Vinegar in Cleaning
