SET 1
There are eight employees P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W of a company and all of them are
working on different designations of a company viz. Managing Director, Assistant
Director, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager,
Probationary officer and Clerk. All the designations given are to be considered in a given
order (Managing Director is considered as Senior-most and Clerk is considered as the
Junior-most).
Not more than three persons are junior than U. There are two post gaps between U and
R. T is just senior than R. T is not the managing Director. More than three post gaps
between T and V, who is not Probationary officer. W is just senior than S and none of
them is Assistant Director. Q is junior than P and is not the Assistant Manager. T is
senior than Q.

SET 2
12 persons are sitting in a parallel row such that six persons sit in each row. Persons in
row 1 face south and persons in row 2 face north. Akshay, Viraj, Sunny, John, Sumit and
Dhruv sit in row 1 while Sam, Madi, Ravi, Ankit, Bunny and Shikha in row 2.
Dhruv sits third to the right of one, who sits opposite to Shikha. One person sits
between Dhruv and Akshay. Dhruv does not sit at any end. Sumit sits opposite to
Bunny. Three persons sit between Bunny and Ankit. Bunny does not sit at any extreme
end. Viraj sits opposite to Sam, who is not adjacent to Bunny. Sunny does not sit at
extreme end or opposite to Madi.

SET 3
Eight persons-I, J, K, L, M, N, O, and P are sitting at the square table facing the centre.
Four persons are sitting in the middle of the table and four persons are sitting at the
corner of the table.Each of them has different farm animals- Sow, Goat, Buck, Ram,
Cow, Calf, Colt, and Bull. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
Note: The consecutive alphabetically named persons don’t sit adjacent to each other
K has Buck and sits at the corner of the table. The one who has a goat sits second to the
right of K. The one who has Colt sits second to the left of I. The one who has Bull sits
immediate left of the one who has Cow. P neither has Bull nor Cow. M and N face each
other. I sit at the corner of the table.O has ram sits immediate left of the one who has
Goat. Two persons are sitting between K and the one who has Sow. J has neither Sow
nor Colt. P sits second to the right of the one who has Sow.

SET 4
10 people A, B, C, D, E, P, Q, R, S, and T sit around a hexagon table. Some of them sit
at the corner and others sit at the middle of the edges. Everyone face towards the
centre.
P and C sit immediate to one of the vacant seats, C is right to P. Q sits on second seat to
the right of seat of C. No one sits between Q and B, who is to the right to Q. Not more
than one seat lies between Q and B. A sits third to the left of P. S and R are immediate
neighbours of A. T sits immediately between B and R. E is not an immediate neighbour
of S. The two vacant seats are neither continuous nor at any corner.
SET 5
Eight people go on a trip on three different dates i.e. 5 th, 12th, and 17th in three different
months i.e. October, November and December of the same year but not necessarily in
the same order.
Note: No one goes on a trip on one of the dates.
T goes on a trip on the 17th. At least one person goes on a trip after T. Three people go
on a trip between H and T. H goes on a trip on an odd-numbered date. Y goes on a trip
immediately before or after H. Y does not go in December. J goes on a trip immediately
before R in the same month but before December. R and Y go on a trip in different
months. L goes on a trip on the 5th after Y. Q goes on a trip after P.

SET 6
Eight persons - J, K, L, M N, O, P and Q are living in a nine-storey building in which the
topmost floor is numbered nine and the lowermost floor is numbered one. One of the
even-numbered floors is vacant but above the floor on which N lives.
Three persons live between L and N. L, who lives on an odd-numbered floor lives below
N. The number of persons who live below L is one less than the number of persons who
live above O. Three persons live between O and P. K lives immediately above P. The
number of floors below the floor in which K lives is the same as the number of persons
who live between J and M. More than two persons live between J and L. Only one floor is
in between J's floor and Q's floor

SET 7
Ten persons are sitting around a circular table such that some are facing inward while
some are facing outward. Not more than two consecutive persons are facing inward. M is
facing inward and is sitting second to the right of S. W is sitting third to the right of E
and they are facing towards opposite directions. H is sitting exactly opposite to Z. B is
an immediate neighbour of M. B is sitting second to the left of D and they are facing
towards opposite directions. N is sitting third to the left of Z. D is facing outward. The
immediate neighbours of D are facing towards the same direction. Three persons are
sitting in between O and B, towards the right of O. S and O are facing towards the same
direction. E is not a neighbour of D or H

SET 8
Seven persons J, K, L, M, N, O and P works in different companies Microsoft, Google,
TCS. All information is not necessarily in the same order. Not less than two persons
work in the same company.
J works with only one person in Microsoft company. L works in TCS company. O does not
work in google company. K does not work with J. M and P work in the same company
but does not work with L. N does not work in TCS company. Not more than two persons
work in TCS company. N does not work with M.

Eight persons are sitting around a square table such that four of them sit at the corners
and rest on the middle of the side. The persons sitting on the corners face opposite
direction to that of the ones sitting on the middle of the side. The one sitting immediate
left to D does not face outside. E and B are immediate left to each other. C faces A. F
and D are immediate neighbors of each other. The one sitting 5th right to the one who is
3rd left to A does not sit at the corner. G sits 3rd right to A. H sits opposite to E.

Seven persons i.e. M, N, O, P, Q, R and S who all live in a seven storey building such
that ground floor is numbered 1 and above it is numbered 2 and so on till the top most
floor which is numbered 7. Not more than three person lives above O. Only two person
lives between M and Q. Only two person lives between R and O. N lives immediately
above R. More than two person lives between N and M. S live above P, but does not live
on odd numbered floor

SET 3
A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a square table, four sit at corners while four
sit at the middle of the sides. The ones who like colours face the centre while who like
city face outside (not necessarily in same order). E faces outside the centre. A likes
Delhi. H likes red colour and sits 3rd to the right of the one who likes Pune. C, who
doesn’t like city, sits second to the left of H. F is not an immediate neighbour of C and H
but likes blue colour. D sits second to the left of F. G likes Mumbai and the one who likes
green colour sits immediate right of G. E is not an immediate neighbour of D. A doesn’t
sit at corner. One of the persons likes pink colour. One of the persons likes Jaipur.

SET 4
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a row. Four of them are facing
towards north while four of them are facing towards south. No two person sits adjacent
to each other according to the English alphabet i.e. (B does not sits adjacent to A and
C).
C sits third to the left of A. Only two person sits between C and F. A does not sits at the
end of the row. E sits 4th to the right of B. H sits third to the right of D and faces south.
G and H faces same direction. Immediate neighbour of H faces same direction. F faces
north direction.

SET 5
Eight persons are sitting in two rows such that each row consists of four persons facing
each other. They face either in North or in South direction. They also like different
colors. Only one person sits between E and C. H faces the one who likes yellow. A does
not like purple and sits in same row as F. B does not face E and G. G and D, are
immediate neighbors of each other. The one who likes black sits diagonally opposite to
the one who likes purple. F does not like pink. The one who likes blue sits at one of the
left ends. E likes maroon. The one who likes purple does not face south. H is immediate
neighbor of the one who faces F. G does not like pink or green. F faces the one who likes
black color. The one who likes green sits immediate right to the one who faces the one

SET 6
Eight persons are living in an eight storey building such that the ground floor is
numbered one, the floor just above it is numbered two and so on till the top most floor
numbered eight. They shifted on different days starting on Monday and ending on
Thursday. Only one pair of persons shifting on same day live on consecutive floors. Not
more than three persons shifted on same day. The ones living on 1st and 2nd floor
shifted on different days. G lives on one of the floors above E but below A. No one lives
between H and B. B lives on 4th floor. G shifted only with C on the same day. D shifted
on same day as A and the one living on 1st floor. F shifted on Monday and lives on an
even numbered floor. Three persons live between D and C but neither they live at
immediate above nor immediate below to B. The one living on 2nd floor shifted on
Wednesday. No one shifted on same day as H. The one living on 7th floor shifted before
the one who is shifting with no one.

SET 7
Seven persons P,Q, R, S, T, U and V play different games Volleyball, Tennis, Cricket,
Golf, Baseball, Badminton and Basketball. They all like different colours i.e. White,
Brown, Pink, Red, Yellow, Green and Blue. All information is not necessarily in same
order.
S likes Red colour and Play badminton. T does not play Golf and Volleyball. The one who
likes yellow colour does not play cricket. P plays baseball and does not like Pink and
brown colour. The one who likes green colour play Basketball. T likes yellow colour. V
likes Blue colour and does not play Golf and Volleyball. U likes brown colour. Q plays
Volleyball.

SET 8
Six persons are living in a building such that the ground floor is numbered 0, the floor
just above it is numbered 1 and so on till the topmost floor numbered 5. The addition of
floor numbers of E and A is one less than the floor number on which C lives. D lives just
above F. A does not belongs to Surat. At least one person lives between the one who
belongs to Pune and D. Not more than one person lives between B and E. Three persons
live between A and the one who belongs to Vadodara. B belongs to Gandhinagar. The
one is from Surat does not live next to the one who belongs to Vadodara. Equal number
of persons live between D and E and the ones belonging to Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
The one who belongs to Mumbai lives above the one who belongs to Vadodara.

SET 9
Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are going on vacation at two different dates i.e.
11th , 24th on four months i.e. January, March, April and May but not necessary in same
order.
R goes on even date and the month which has even number of days. One person goes
between R and U. T goes just before V but not in same month. As many persons go
before Q as many persons go after W. P goes before S. P does not go in the month
which has even number of days. P does not go just before Q. Q goes before W.
SET 10
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a circular table. Some of them face
towards the center and some of them face outside the center but not necessary in same
order. G sits second to the right of D. Three persons sit between G and A. Immediate
neighbor of E face opposite direction to each other’s. C sits second to the right of G. H
sits second to the left of the one who is third to the left of G. F sits second to the left of
H, who face inside. B does not sit opposite to H. F sits third to the right of C. C does not
sit immediate left of E. The persons who face inside are more than the persons who face
outside.

in the same order. No two successive persons are sitting together according to alphabetical
order. For Example: A does not sit with B; similarly, B does not sit with C and so on. They

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H were born on dates 3rd, 9th, 25th and 29th in the
April and June month but not necessarily in the same order. Each one of them likes either a
car or a flower. The persons who like cars were born on that day which is a perfect square
and the car they like are viz. Mazda, Kia, Dodge and Buick. The persons who were born on
the day which denotes a prime number like flowers viz. Rose, Lily, Jasmine and Daisy. The
one who likes Mazda car was born on a day which is a perfect square in the month of April.
No person was born between D and the one who likes Mazda. D doesn’t like cars. Three
persons were born between D and the one who likes Jasmine. There is no person born
between the one who likes Jasmine and Buick car. The number of people born after the one
who likes Buick car is one less than the number of persons born before A. The one who likes
Rose was born immediately before B. B do not like Jasmine. The number of people born
before B is same as the number of persons born after G. Three persons were born between

There are eight persons – M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T – who like different birds viz- parrot,
gull, crane, patoo, cuckoo, sparrow, stork and bulbul but not necessarily in the same order.
They all are living in the eight-storey building in which the ground floor is numbered one and
the topmost floor is numbered eight. T lives on odd number floor and also immediately
below the one who likes bulbul. T lives neither on the first nor third floor. There is only one
person lives between the S, who likes crane and the one who likes bulbul. S lives on an even
numbered floor. There are three persons live between S and R, who likes stork. O lives
immediately below P. The one who likes sparrow live immediately below the one who likes
stork. There are three persons live between the one who likes sparrow and the Q, who likes
cuckoo. Q does not live on the even numbered floor. M does not like bulbul and sparrow. N
likes gull and lives on the even numbered floor. T does not like parrot.

Seven boxes are arranged in a stack A, B, C, D, E, F and G are placed one above another
(but not necessarily in the same order) are containing seven different items i.e. gems,
biscuits, chips, chocolates, candy, toffees and fruity. Four boxes are between the box A and
the one which contains toffees. Box B contains chips. Only one box is between F and A. Only
three boxes are between A and B. F is placed in the middle of the stack. Same number of
boxes are placed between F and G and F and the box which contains toffees. G does not
place below the box which contains Chips. Only one box is between the box which contains
chocolates and box D. The box that contains gems is above the box that contains chocolates
but not place immediate above the box that contains chocolates. Only one box is between
the box which contains gems and box C. E contains toffees. F does not contain candy and
fruity. D does not contain fruity. Box C is not placed below D.

SET 5
Seven persons living in a seven-floored building such that ground floor is numbered 1, and
the topmost floor is numbered 7. Each one of them was born in a different month of the
same year starting from January to July. Only three persons live above the floor on which P
lives. Only three persons live between the persons who were born in July and April. R lives
on the floor which is immediately below the floor on which T lives. Only two persons live
between Q and the third oldest person who lives one of the floors below Q. V was not born
in January. Only one person lives between P and the youngest person. The one who was
born in June lives on an even numbered floor. Q neither lives immediately above nor lives
immediately below the floor on which the person who was born in May lives. P does not live

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H were born in different months i.e. January, April,
June, October on two different dates 16th or 24th. Only One person was born on one date.
They all like different colors i.e. Blue, Green, Red, Pink, Purple, White, Black, Orange but not
necessarily in the same order. A was born in a month having 30 days. Only one person was
born between H and the one who like Black and none of them was born in January. Two
persons was born between the ones who like Black and White. Five persons were born

Eight students H, J, M, P, S, W, X and Z sitting in a row in such a way that some of them are
facing north and some of them facing south but not necessarily in the same order. They all
have different number of pencils with them. S sits fourth to the right of H and both faces
opposite direction and one of them sits at the end of the row. Z has odd number of pencil
which is a perfect square less than 85 and more than 27. H has 3 less pencil than W. M has
5 pencil less than X. Only two students sit between Z and the one who has 20 less pencil

Eight friends O, R, M, K, H, U, B and S are sitting around a circular table, but not necessarily
in the same order. Four of them are facing inside and the other are facing outside. Each of
them like colour i.e. Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Grey, Purple, Red and White. The one who
likes Grey facing outside and sits third to the left of R. H sits second to the left of O, who
facing outside. M faces H and likes purple colour. O and R do not sit near to each other. H

Six employees work in a multinational company at different post- CEO, CMD, MD, AM,
Manager and Trainee. All the designations given are to be considered in a given order (as
CEO is considered as Senior-most and Trainee is considered as the Junior-most). Each of
them belongs to different countries. Only two persons are junior to D, who belongs to Japan.
E is senior to D but junior to the one who belongs to Canada. A is immediate senior to the
one who belongs to Italy. F is senior to B. The one who is from Germany is immediate junior
to C. A is not from Canada. The one who is junior most belongs to Russia. B does not belong
to India.

There are eight boxes viz. A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H. All the box is arranged from top to
bottombut notnecessarily in the same order. Not more than one box is placedbelow box
G. Box B is placed immediately above box A. Box B is not placed at the top position. Box
F is placed above box H. More than four boxes are placed between box F and box H. Box
C is placed immediately above box E. Three boxes are placed between box E and box D.

Eight persons sit in a single row. Four of them faces in north direction and Four of them
faces in south direction.
A sit at one of the extreme ends of the row. D sits third to the right of A. Persons sit at

sits immediate right of G. Only two persons sits between B and H. H is not an immediate

Twelve people are seated in two parallel rows containing six people each such that they
are facing each other. The rows are numbered 1 and 2. In row 1, A, B, C, D, E and F are
seated but not necessarily in the same order and all of them are facing North. In row 2,

facing South.
Only two people are seated between A and B, who faces I. L sits fourth to the right of K,

Ten people A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J were seated around a rectangular table facing inwards. 2
people were seated on each longer edge while only one person was seated on each
smaller edge. One person was seated on each corner. Further it is known that C who
was seated adjacent to E, was not seated opposite to B. I who was seated on the edge
was opposite to A and immediate left of J.E was seated on one of the corners and is
second to the left of H who was seated on the edge. F was second to the right of G.B
was not seated on the corner.

SET 8
Seven friends A, B, C, D, E, F and G work in four different departments i.e. Marketing,
Finance, HR and IT. Not more than two work in the same department. Each of them
works, in different organization's which are P, Q, R, S, T, W and Z, not necessarily in this
order. A who does not work for organization P works in Marketing Department like C. E
works for organization W and does not work in Finance Department B works for
organization T and works in the same Department as D. Only F works in HR Department
None in Marketing or IT department works for organization R. C works for organization
S. The one who works for organization Z works for the Finance Department.
Set 9
Certain number of persons are standing in a row facing north. C is standing 2nd to the
left of G and 5th to the right of F. 4 persons are standing between C and A. Number of
persons standing to the right of A are three times the number of persons standing to the
left of F. Number of persons standing in a row are more than 20 and less than 26. B and
D are standing 2nd from the left and right end of the row, respectively. 3 persons are
standing between D and E. Number of persons standing between X and Y are either 5 or
7. Y is standing at the end of the row. Z is standing to the immediate left of X. P is
standing adjacent to Z but not adjacent to F.

Set 10
Nine persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I were seated around a triangular table facing
the centre. There was one person at each of the corners and two persons along each of
the sides.

Five people A, B, C, D and E travelled to a city on different days of the same week
starting on a Monday. They travelled with different airlines among Delta, Emirates,
Qantas, Trujet and Vistara not necessarily in similar manner. B travelled with neither
Emirates nor Delta. A travelled immediately before D who travelled with Trujet. More
than one person travelled between the ones who travelled with Emirates and Vistara.
The one who travelled with Qantas travelled immediately before E. Only two people

in the same order such that distance between adjacent persons is a constant. Some
persons faces the north while some faces the south direction. No three persons sitting
consecutively faces the same direction.
Z and G sit at the ends of the row and faces the opposite direction. C sits second to the
right of Z. Five persons sit between C and F. E, who faces the south, sit between F and
G. Three persons sit between V and X, who sits immediate left of F. V, X and F faces the
same direction. M sits fourth to the right of C. D sits third to the right of B. N, an

SET 3
Twelve persons sitting in two parallel rows containing six persons in each row in such a
way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In the first row, A, B, C,
D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing south. In the second row, P, Q, R, S, T
and U are seated and all of them are facing north.
A sits 2nd to the left of D, who faces P. One person sits between D and F. C sits
diagonally opposite to Q. Only one person sits between U and S. U faces the one who
sits 2nd to the left of B. S does not face B. T sits in the right side of R.

SET 4
Eight boxes P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, and W that have to be delivered in eight different states
i.e. Punjab, Kerala, Manipur, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Assam but
not necessarily in the same order are placed one above the other forming a stack in the
delivery center.
The box that has to be delivered in Punjab is placed immediately above the box that has
to be delivered in Manipur. Q that has to be delivered in Haryana is placed immediately
above R (not to be delivered in Rajasthan). P (not to be delivered in Rajasthan) is placed
above the box that has to be delivered in Karnataka. Three boxes are placed between T
and V. The box that has to be delivered in Rajasthan is placed above W. Two boxes are
