Is Romeo Guilty?

The son of a powerful and wealthy family, a kid who the world bows down to. A loving
kid, and love being the only thing he wants. A young gentleman who treats a girl right and
conquers a girl with any word he says. And a young man who tries to avoid trouble when ever
he can. But every rose has its thorns and eventually no matter how beautiful and sweet the rose
is, it’s destined to hurt somebody. Romeo and the lack of control with his emotions he ended up
making the wrong decisions. Therefore leading to the death of himself and Juliet.

Although Romeo is kind at heart he is not always able to control his emotions. Therefore leaving
him to cause unexpected actions. “Alive in triumph- and Mercutio slain! Away to heaven,
respective lenity, And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now. Now, Tybalt, take the “villain” back
again. That late gavest me, for Mercutio’s soul Is but a little way above heads, staying for thine
to keep him company. Either thou or I, or both, must go with him.” Romeo decides to seek
vengeance for his dear friend Mercutio. So he decides to kill Tybalt. His feeling impacted his
decision so much he ended up doing the wrong thing. If Romeo had more control over his
emotions he wouldn’t have been exiled from Verona, resulting in major consequences. Which is
not good for Romeo, these actions are also influenced by the people around. “Come hither, man. I
see that thou art poor. Hold, there is forty ducats. Let me have a dream poison, such
soon-speeding gear As i will itself through all the veins That the life-weary taker may fall dead
And that trunk may be discharged of breath As violently as hasty powder fired Dorth hurry from
the fatal cannon’s womb.”This is another situation where Romeo shows no self control. And
Instead of being strong he decides to kill himself. But if he would have not killed Tybalt in the
first place he would have never been exiled this wouldn’t have happened. And again self control
plays a big role in this. And it’s been seen in real life situations where people do not control
their emotions and many bad things happen to them. And my dad once said “Once you
are able to control your emotions everything will be so much easier for you.”
So by having control of your emotions you can avoid many problems. But also by avoiding doing
the wrong thing you can keep yourself out of trouble.

Romeo knew that being with Juliet was not a good idea and that Juliet is
the daughter of a family rival and being with her would be nothing good. “Is she a
capulet? O dear account! My life is my foe’s debt.” He knows he is doing a wrong by
being with the daughter of a rival family. And he knew that if he was caught with Juliet he
would pay with his life. This is important because people know that they are not
doing the right thing and still do it because it feels good. They like the sensation of
adrenaline. Or sometimes they just like something so much they don’t take into
consideration the consequences that come with the action. And in this case
Romeo is the constitution of what he is doing but he is basically addicted and he
doesn’t care what comes after as long as he gets what he wants. Romeo can
seek the attention of any girl in Verona but decides to go for the most dangerous
option. Knowing that by being with Juliet, heavy consequences will follow after.
And it seems like as if he tries to stay out of trouble, Romeo can be considered as
a trouble magnet. This is important because it gives us a more profound
understanding of what Romeo is like. A determined, stubborn young man, who
won’t stop until he gets what he wants. Romeo is not full to blame. He is stubborn
just like his parents. And that is a perfect example of how when you are
surrounded by a group of people you will sooner or later become them. Just like
who The Capulets and the Montagues are doing the wrong thing and involving the
whole city in their violence and not putting an end to it . Romeo is doing the same
thing and putting Juliet and himself at danger by simply having no self control. And
although Romeo is a good guy he is surrounded by the wrong people. And no
matter how he tries to keep himself out of trouble he eventually ends up falling
victim to the consequences.

Although Romeo was a good boy at heart, a romantic soul lost in a world of violence
who avoided conflict at all times and mainly strived for peace. A young man who was against
the rivalry his family had. A person who seeked true love and to be loved in return. A young man
who can conquer women with his beautiful melody of speech. He can be considered as a true
“love boy” just like drake. He kept his family members out of trouble. A passionate young man
full of strong attitude, Which most people would think is a good thing. But in the end this strong
attitude and passion caused him to make the wrong decisions. Causing him to think on impulse
and think about the consequences which would end up resulting in his death and the death of
his lover Juliet.
