Vietnam has been a development success story with profitable reforms since
the launch of Đoi Moi in 1986 coupled with salutary global trends. The
economy of Vietnam is a mixed socialist-oriented request economy, which is
the 36th-largest in the world as (GDP) and 26th-largest in the world as (PPP) in
2022.
Gross domestic product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2022 is estimated to
increase quite high at 13.67% compared to the same period last year. The
average yearly GDP growth rate is about 6.5% that together with stable
population growth and an increase in substance makes Vietnam an attractive
demand.
Agriculture remains an important area of the country's life which employs
about 40 of the economically active fund, and 65 of the population lives in
rural areas.
The services market is developing, which accounted for 30% of the country's
GDP.
Vietnam's accession to ASEAN and the WTO allowed the country to
strengthen its integration into the world economy and accelerate the pace of
perfecting investment legislation, and a long- term policy aimed at perfecting
conditions and guarantees for investors created a stable investment structure
that made Vietnam one of the most attractive countries for foreign capital.
