Swarna lavanti CSR Projects

I t was observed that most of the projects selected by companies are of run-of-the
mill nature and do not qualiíy as 'Iconic' projects which can be showcased during
the Swarna Jayanti year of CIL.
I t was advised that each subsidiary needs to select only one or two iconic projects
which can be showcased during the Swarna Jayanti year. These projects should
reflect the socially responsible nature of CIL and should be matching the stature of
the oxcasion ie. the completion of 50 years of ClL.
I t was decided that a
meeting will be held under the mentorship of Prof. Agnihotri
the pro-bono guide for the scheme). Before that meeting, subsidiaries need to
identify projects and prepare short concept notes on these projects. The projects
can then be
discussed with Prof. Agnihotri and necessary improvements can be
made.
