April Sheila’s Moral Experience

One of the ways I help others lead a moral life is by advising those around to behave
in a morally upright manner. For instance, recently one of my friends came to me
for advice regarding an assignment that he had. The task was due in one week, and
he wanted to hire someone to do it as he went and have fun with his relatives. This
was not an honest thing to do, and therefore it was a wicked deed on his part. As a
result, I advised him to do the assignment on his own and miss out on the trip with
his relatives since the task was more important and because that was the right thing
to do. Another way that I encourage others to live morally is by living a moral life
so that others can look up to me.

Emelyn's Moral Experience

I was walking down the street one day when I met an old man who clearly needed
help. Despite my financial difficulties, I felt called to help the man so I used up the
remaining money I had and gave it to the old man. The act of generosity touched
my heart and, in that moment, I realized the true value of giving and how it can
bring joy and connection to something greater than myself.

Editha's Moral Experience

I always taught the importance of saving money growing up. One day, when I was
shopping at the store with my friend, I noticed an elegant bag. I was instantly drawn
to them, but I remembered what my mom always taught me and choose to save
my money and not purchase the bag. This situation taught me that is important to
save money and be responsible with my finances. Now, I ask myself if something is
truly worth the expense, rather than making a rush decision with my money.

Jessa's Moral Experience

I was really conflicted about what to do on Sunday morning. I had promised my
sister that I would babysit my niece, but at the same time, I also wanted to go to
church. After much thought, I decided to take my niece with me to church. As we
entered the service, I was immediately captivated by the beautiful music, powerful
preaching, and heartfelt testimonies of faith. Seeing my niece joyfully singing along
with the congregation filled me with immense happiness and gratitude. It was a
moment that I will cherish forever and it reaffirmed my faith in the individuals and
communities around me. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about the
importance of choosing faith and spending quality time with loved ones. I am so
grateful for this wonderful experience, and I look forward to many more like it in
the future.

Ronna Mae’s Moral Experience

I'm easily distracted, especially when I'm trying to do a task and want to start
watching a movie or a Korean drama on my phone. This causes me to put my task
aside and makes it impossible for me to complete it. So even if I have a lot of things
to do one day, I still want to watch a Korean drama. I made the decision to put my
phone away and concentrate on my tasks. I also made the decision to complete all
of them so that I wouldn't be pressed for time as the deadline approached. While I
can watch movies or dramas after I finish my activities, I always make sure that I
finish all of my activities or schoolwork before I watch a movie or drama.

Geralena's Moral Experience

One day I was late for school because I had an exam and I saw a grandmother
crossing the pedestrian lane and the fruit she was carrying fell in the middle of her
crossing but people were also in a hurry to cross so they didn't notice the
grandmother and even I was also in a hurry, I chose to help grandma and when I
got to school they were about to start taking exams, I realized that it's better to be
late than not to go.

Define Moral Dilemma

A moral dilemma is also called an ethical dilemma and refers to a situation where
an individual needs to make a choice but faces a conflicting situation between one
or more alternatives. Ideally, the choice they make presents a dilemma because
every available option may be wrong or incorrect. This creates a situation where
there is a conflict of morals or ethics. Moral dilemmas are important as they help
individuals interrogate their moral standing and who they are in terms of the
choices they make when presented with conflicting options or situations.

Example of Moral Dilemma

Editha wants to purchase a bag, but her mother instilled in her the value of saving
money. She has to decide whether to save her money or spend it on the bag she
wants.
