Progress/Achievements for the week:

The main objective of this research work is to recognize the different Indian language in the form of
document image they are Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Gujarati, English, and so on. The
important tasks performed in this research work are Pre-processing, Segmentation, Feature extraction
and Classification. In this work proposed random forest for multi-language recognition. From the
experimental results, it is observed that the performance of random forest classifier is better than
KNearest neighbor technique. It properly recognize and classify the different Indian languages and
taken higher accuracy measure. In future this work will extend for multi script languages is appear in
the single documents images using new algorithms and techniques
