Cách làm: nhìn đằng trước và đằng sau chỗ trống.
1. Đằng sau là cụm N => chọn đáp án là một tính từ sở hữu.
2. Đằng trước là giới từ “by” => chọn đáp án là một đại từ phản thân.
3. Đằng sau không là N, đằng trước là V => đáp án là đại từ đóng vai trò làm tân ngữ
hoặc đại từ phản thân. (Dịch nghĩa. Lưu ý: muốn chọn đại từ phản thân thì đại từ phản
thân và chủ ngữ phải cùng là một đối tượng)
