As school principals, they are responsible for a variety of duties. It’s utterly inspiring how
principals manages to complete all of their duties simultaneously, including developing and
implementing curriculum-related programs, keeping a watchful eye on the students to ensure that they
are obtaining the knowledge they need and deserve, and supporting or advocating for the value of
education, particularly for children and their future. Furthermore, they act as a medium for parents and
teachers to interact in an amicable and open manner, which is essential for fostering the institution’s
good reputation and strengthening community trust in it. However, it appears that many people are
confused as to why a school principal is necessary because the educational institution can effectively
manage all of the plans and activities that schools require. In summary, school principals have more than
only students as a top priority. The school’s principal is a steward who establishes the fundamental
principles that will drive staff and students toward success in their respective academic fields and
profession.
On the other hand, excellent school leadership is also associated with good school
management. Teaching is only a small part of what makes a school successful. Well, good teaching and
learning are essential, and the management that supports them is the key to provide a comprehensive
education that pays attention to the students. Having poor school management would undoubtedly
impede learner’s social and emotional growth. Additionally, there won’t be any collaboration or
communication. When a school lacks effective management, it will almost certainly have an impact on
every aspect of the learning environment, including students’ academic and social development. Well,
school principals do play a significant role in the organization in many ways. The values, mission, and
vision of the school are in their care. But good leaders shouldn’t just live in isolation; they should also be
adept at bringing everything together. Improving school leadership means having a skilled and effective
leader, and with an effective leader, any goal can be achieved.
