“if everyone fully felt and believed that all of humanity was his family, then” in my way of thinking I
think the passage above is true because a poets voice is more than just (peace and joy and happiness) it
would reconnect and rebuild the brotherhood of nations and I see that Gibran’s main point were three
points which were ( brotherhood, good-will, and love) which have inspired into loving more books and
read more his special books.

Gibran has shown brotherhood a lot through a poets voice and the prophet because from my angle I
understood that he wants our brotherhood to rebuild and I think that he is trying to mention that the
brotherhood between nations is weak is ice and I noticed that he explained his theory of love being the
key element of humanity and I think this concept connect from his love to Lebanon because in poets
voice I noticed that he was creating and using many ways to describe humanity as the tribe of joy and
happiness and the tribe of destruction and selfishness which was clearly shown by Gibran that he was
against mostly and he wanted good-will and peace and love to restore and rebuild the shattered heart
of humanity.

And Gibran has proven many ways of the great evilness of humanity and how brotherhood is weak
between us because I could relate to that because once I was friends with someone for 2-3year but in
the 4th year he suddenly stopped talking to me and didn’t act the same way as he was used to and that
was kind of broke my heart into pieces and made my emotional life go downhill but at the end, after
some time I got it back up and I saw a poem line that talks about Gibran’s hatred for selfishness
“selfishness, my brother, is the cause of blind superiority, and superiority creates clanship, and clanship
creates authority which leads to discord and subjugation” which in my point of view that he meant that
clanship makes the brotherhood bonds weaker and weaker until it breaks into pieces and it makes us an
inefficient group of civilization and he said that selfishness and authority are the main reason of the
weakness of humanity and one of the most hated things for him.

I think that Gibran’s is one of my favorite poets and writers because he had shown me a better way to
understand literature and has helped me and saved me a lot of time into understanding the text his and
when I first read a poets voice I wanted to start to cry because the words were too beautiful to hold in
hands because he was like an angel that describing humanity in many ways.
