Premiere Medical Center - Social Media Policy
I. OVERVIEW
Premiere Medical Center-Nueva Ecija (PMCNE) through Marketing, Corporate Image and
Communications (MCIC) Department aims to use social media to share information about PMCNE,
promote PMCNE stories, and services, support the delivery of high standards of clinical care, promote
consumer engagement with the hospital, share information to improve health literacy and foster and
strengthen our ties to the community.
This policy will provide direction to all staff within PMCNE around the use of both PMCNE-MCIC
hosted and non-PMCNE-MCIC hosted social media. This is to make sure that PMCNE knows, identified
or presumed that the content of all the data posted and shared in social media using the name of the
hospital are within the institutions control and are approved beforehand. The procedure also sets out
the obligations and requirements that are intended to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory
restrictions and privacy and confidentiality agreements.
The policy also relates to the updated Code of Discipline of PMC employees and PMC Employee
Handboook.
