The Struggles of Senior High School Students at CNHS During

Pandemic (2021-2022)

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused an immense impact on the educational


sector, with schools and universities worldwide forced to shut down due to the
pandemic’s spread. Senior high school students have faced a great deal of
uncertainty during this period, struggling to adjust to the numerous educational
changes brought about by the pandemic.
Senior high school students have faced various academic struggles during the
pandemic. A large percentage of students report that they have difficulty staying
motivated and focused on their studies due to the disruptions caused by the
pandemic. Additionally, many students expressed concerns about the disparity in
access to educational resources, with some students not having access to
technology or the internet.
The study also found that students have experienced significant social impacts
due to the pandemic. Students have been unable to attend school regularly,
which has caused a notable impact on their social interactions and the formation
of relationships with classmates. Many students also reported feeling lonely and
disconnected due to the lack of external activities.
Finally, It shows that the pandemic’s mental health impacts have been severe for
senior high school students. Students have experienced anxiety, depression, and
stress during the pandemic, with many struggling to cope with the changes in
their lives.
