Reflection Paper on the Webinar “Managing Grief (Grief Counseling)"

What exactly does grief mean? Based on the information I gathered grief is an understandable reaction
to loss. It's the emotional pain you experience when something or someone you care about is removed
from you. The agony of loss can be unbearable at times. From shock or fury to disbelief, remorse, and
deep sadness, you may experience a wide range of uncomfortable and unexpected emotions. Grief can
have a negative impact on your physical health, making it difficult to sleep, eat, or even think clearly.

The webinar held last Wednesday May 25, 2022 was, explained where stress, anxiety, sadness, and
other mental illnesses originate. It also explained how we will be affected. We must confront our
difficulties; the solution is not to end our own life, and we must learn to accept failure since the world is
not always on our side. We have lost people close to us, which is painful, but we must accept it because
others say life is brief. It takes a long time to be able to move on or accept a negative incident in our
lives, but all of this is natural, including stupor, not speaking, and not eating.

How can this be overcome? For me, it's as simple as focusing on the things that you know will make you
happy, such as traveling alone (there's nothing wrong with that), thinking about how it will affect you in
the future if you have trouble studying, and finally changing or eliminating the negative thinking that
others call overthinking.
