WAYS OF REDUCING AIR POLLUTION 2
Abstract
An abstract is a single paragraph, without indentation, that summarizes the key points of the
manuscript in 100 to 150 words. The purpose of the abstract is to provide the reader with a brief
overview of the paper. You should include the purpose and scope of your primary research
(surveys), but NOT the results or conclusions. You should include a word count at the end of
Introduction:
This is where the body of your paper begins. Your introduction should state the purpose
of your research, give relevant background information, provide any necessary definitions, and
provide an outline of how your argument will be organized throughout the research paper. Notice
The major components of your paper (abstract, body, primary research analysis,
references, and appendices) each begin on a new page. These components begin with centered
headings at the top of the first page. Your papers should be divided into a number of sections
depending on the number of points that you will discuss. The section title should be provided at
the start of every section. Sections can have subsections with headings. All section headings

Conclusion:
This is where you restate your research question and main points of your research. You
should incorporate the most important aspects of the conclusion, which we studied in the course.
Note: Remember to include a word count at the end of your conclusion that will also include the
number of words in the Primary Research Analysis Section at the end. Your research paper must
be at least 2,000 words with the Primary Research Analysis Section (you do not include the
This survey was conducted in order to find out what people’s opinions are about air
pollution.
50 people from all around the world were surveyed using SurveyMonkey.com on
November 25, 2015. I received an equal number of male and female responses.
Findings: (What are some of the more interesting numbers that you found in the survey?)
The majority of the people surveyed felt that air pollution was a serious problem to the
environment. Provide 5-10 statements from the survey information that you gathered.
Conclusion: (Discuss overall findings and limitations of the survey you conducted)
The conclusion will give a summary of the information in the surveys and will discuss
