People Processing

Jolibee take part in treating the customers with genuine

service and greet them with a smile. After going in the fast
food chain, people will have to fall in line for their order but
sometimes when the line is too long, there’s a crew that will go
to you instead to take your order so that when it’s your turn,
you will just give the paper with your order to the cashier. For
payment, some customer pay with cash and some pay with
their cards, there are times that when you pay with card, the
card machine/holder isn’t working and it caused delay in
taking orders. It sometimes take long to wait for your order
and usually the crew will say how long will it take for the
customer to be aware. After they wait and claim their order,
the crew always say their lines such as “Thank you, please
come again”, to the customer.

Information Processing
Jollibee is a fast-food brand in the Philippines that sells a range of meals and
snacks. Jollibee's information processing encompasses many aspects of its
operations. The following is the step-by-step information processing when ordering
in Jollibee:

1. Customers are given a variety of menu options to choose from when they go up
to the Jollibee counter or use a self-service kiosk. This consists of a visual
representation of the menu items, along with prices and descriptions.

2. The customer states their order to the cashier or enters it into the self-service
kiosk after deciding what they would like to order. The order is then entered into
Jollibee's POS system, which is designed to capture and process order information.

3. After entering the order into the POS system, the customer pays for their order
with cash, a credit card, or another form of payment. The transaction is authorized
and completed through Jollibee's payment gateway, which interacts with the
customer's bank or payment service provider to process payments.

4. If a customer pays with cash, the cashier computes the change and gives it back
to the customer. The POS system also prints a receipt that includes the order
information, payment information, and change due.
Information Processing
5. The customer is given a receipt, either in physical or digital form, as soon as the
order is paid for. This receipt serves as proof of purchase.

6. During the ordering process, the customer and the cashier may communicate to
clarify details about the order, such as modifications or special requests. This
communication is essential for ensuring that the order is correct and that the
customer's expectations are met.

7. Information about the order according to the customer's choices is then sent to
the kitchen or food preparation area, where the order is put together in
accordance with the customer's instructions. The POS system may also
communicate with inventory and supply chain management systems to ensure that
the necessary ingredients and supplies are available.

8. A customer receives notification when their order is ready, at which point they
can pick up their food, completing the order transactions. The order status is
updated by the POS system to reflect that it has been finished, and the transaction
is noted in Jollibee's revenue and sales reporting systems.
