Construct A word Is a digital site where students pick an ending
sound and then use the alphabet to create words. After having picked an
ending sound the site displays a number. This number is representative of
the number of words on a word list that can be spelled by matching the
letters displayed on the site with the ending sound previously chosen. This
site has an efficient range of K- 2nd grade.
This is a great site to use during language arts. It can help students
to practice word families and solidify blending skills. The use of word
families helps students to become more fluent readers as they begin to
identify letter sounds and chunk sounds in the building of words. Students
are able to explore this site independently while the teacher is working with
a group of students or as a group lesson in which the students are guided
through the building of words.

The Math Learning Center

<https://www.mathlearningcenter.org/apps>
Is a site with a number of useful math programs I was given access to
in my how-to teach math course. This site has programs that give
students an introduction to or practice place value, time, geometry, and
money. Students are able to click into any one of these apps and use the
activities to solidify a concept, reinforce new material, or practice to keep
skills fresh.
This site is a great digital resource for teachers, students, and
families. The site also offers material to assist teachers to teach concepts.
Educators can find resources to assist with lesson planning and
professional development. Families are offered assistance to help support
their student's learning.
