Generalization
It is true that change is inevitable. There will be times when the
new one replaces the old, which we refer to as "language shift."
Hence, when a language shift occurs, death will follow, as when the
speaker dies, the language dies with them. As a result, our
community strives to recover a language that is threatened by
language death, loss, and extinction. Where as, language
maintenance serves as the awakening part of the community, thus,
people continue to utilize the language in simple ways every single
day that counts in the process of attaining to maintain the language.
