The document discusses three things the author learned from a discussion about their religious beliefs: 1) That while not directly authored by God, the Bible is God's word as the writers were influenced by the Holy Spirit; 2) That the Bible was originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek rather than English; 3) That apocryphal books are considered ancient but not divinely inspired so are not included in the biblical canon.

The learnings or discoveries based on the discussion today by looking into my
belief, knowledge or information in the past that are clarified or may be corrected are:
1. The Bible is a word of God.
When we had our first activity, we were asked if the Bible is a word of God, and then I answered no. But after our discussion I learned that the Bible is a word of God written in the language of men. Although, the Bible did not come directly from Him but everything in the Bible is Him. It is how God communicates/speaks with us. And also, even if the Bible was written in the language of men, they were under the influence of the Holy Spirit and the inspiration of God upon writing the scriptures. 2. Biblical Languages Before, I really thought that the Bible was a book that was mainly written in English that was passed on from generations to generations up until today. But after our discussion, I learned that the Bible was originally written in Aramaic, Hebrew, and Greek languages written by different authors that was called biblical languages. Editions of this book were translated from ancient to modern language of today which proves how powerful the word of God is for us to receive it up until today and for the rest of life. 3. Apocryphal Books This is actually new to me and I just found about it during our discussion. As what I’ve learned Apocryphal books are ancient and holy but not divinely or biblically inspired which is why these books were not included in the bible because it is said that it has no authority in the church of God. It also means doubtful, which is why other religions do not accept this book also.
