KRONOS ecochem has been operating in Germany
and worldwide for over 35 years. Our success is based
on long-standing, trusting and competent cooperation
with local authorities and industry.
We offer a wide range of products based on pure iron
salts that are both economical and environmentally
friendly in use. Having started with products for water
treatment, we expanded into new fields of application
in recent years and further developed our iron salts to
cater to the respective specific requirements.
As the market leaders in the field of water treatment in
Germany, our precipitants and flocculants for treating
municipal sewage and industrial effluent, for dewatering
sewage sludge and for purifying drinking water, process
water and cooling water have proven successful for over
35 years. Odour control (H2S) in sewerage systems and
the abatement of bulking sludge are further applications
for which we offer tailor-made solutions. Our technicians
cooperate closely with our clients in order to elaborate
customised problem solutions.
Together with our distribution partners, we tackle
the elimination of hydrogen sulfide in biogas with
KRONOFLOC.
KROnoCHROME is a product developed for chromate
reduction in cement that makes a decisive contribution
to the fight against chromate dermatitis.

KRONOS iron salts are also successfully used in
agriculture, the animal feed industry and the production
of iron oxide pigments.
Controlled quality, consistent composition, dependable
availability, high purity and a good cost/benefit ratio are
the characteristic attributes of all our products.
The KRONOS Group
The KRONOS Group has been operating on an interna-
tional basis for more than 90 years. With a production
capacity of 532,000 metric tons per annum at six ISO-
certified plants in five countries, it is one of the world‘s
leading manufacturers of titanium dioxide.
KRONOS titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a fine, non-toxic
white pigment obtained from titanium-bearing ore. Its
uses include the production of architectural paints for
indoor and outdoor applications, industrial coatings,
plastics, e.g. for window profiles and plastic housings,
as well as laminates and printing inks.
The production operations at all KRONOS plants meet
high and exemplary environmental protection standards
and are subject to a process of continuous improve-
ment.
