We are happy to share that, FICCI is organizing a multi-sectoral Business Delegation to Egypt
from 25th -27th July 2022 and to Dubai & Sharjah, UAE, from 28th-29th July 2022.

The Business delegation in Egypt and UAE will have key engagements at both the countries like,
Interaction with Indian Missions, Business Forums, Interactive meeting with members of the
leading chamber of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Meeting with Ministry of Trade and
Industry, Investment Commissions, and visit to SEZ, amongst others.

While, Egypt has been traditionally India’s most important trading partner in the African
continent, our bilateral trade is currently at USD 4.16 billion and India’s Exports to Egypt at USD
2.26 billion making India, Egypt’s 9th largest trading partner, 8th largest export destination and
the 10th largest import source. Over 450 Indian companies are registered in Egypt in various
sectors with a combined investment exceeding USD 3 billion.

The UAE is a gateway to Africa and other parts of the world, our bilateral trade with UAE stood
at USD 43.3 billion in 2020-21. Exports were worth USD 16.7 billion and imports aggregated at
USD 26.7 billion in 2020-21. The UAE is India's third-largest trading partner and accounts for
approximately 40 per cent of its trade with the Arab world. The historic Comprehensive
Economic Partnership Agreement signed between India and the UAE, is a comprehensive path-
breaking trade agreement. The CEPA is likely to boost trade between India and the UAE from
USD 60 billion to USD 100 billion in the next five years.

Clearly, with both countries we have various dimensions of our relationship which is untapped
and remains unexplored and need to be fully explored, exploited, and developed.

 
We are inviting industry members from the sectors like Food & Food Processing, Agriculture &
Irrigation Technology & Machinery, Farm Equipments, Pharma, Bio-Tech, Medical, Surgical
and Lab Equipments, Education, Textiles & Textile Technology & Machinery, Leather,
Renewable Energy, ICT, IT & ITES, Minerals and Mining, Manufacturing, Defense,
Automobiles, Transport and Tourism sectors, amongst others.

We are confident that your joining the FICCI Business Delegation to Egypt & UAE will open new
vistas and business opportunities. To defray the organisational expenses, Local travel of
Delegation for meetings and other administrative costs, we are obliged to charge delegation
fee, charges are as follows:

 Both Counties- INR 60,000 (plus GST) per delegate per company
 Any One Country- INR 40,000 (plus GST) per delegate per company
 Those joining locally in any country - USD 700 per delegate per company

Please note:

 FICCI shall help in issuing visa recommendation letters to confirmed delegates only after
completion of payment of relevant fees.
 The Delegation charges do not include airfare, accommodation, VISA fee etc.
