GOOD EFFECT
In a certain part of the clip, one of Bart vampire
friends stated that if her sister became a vampire
and said it to the movies, she could get a free
soda. Sometimes this has a good effect on people
in terms of getting encouraged to do their work or
to do something they have put off for a long time.
Another thing, fallacies could also make people
understand the outcomes of their choices whether
it would be good or bad depending on the aspect
they are talking about. In this case, it might be the
lifestyle in which a kid or a teen aspire for.
Fallacies could be a subject for pushing people to
do something, such as in the vid, going to church.
It could also inspire people depending as to how
fallacies are used and what it is used for.
It could also make people think first and analyze
situations before deciding to go for it. Sometimes,
fallacy may be as much as exaggerated but at
some point, it helps people to understand the
consequences of their actions and therefore, think
about it.
BAD EFFECT
First off, the audience would be misled thinking a
certain circumstance, such as being a vampire,
would lead to smoking. This would cause a ruckus
for every existent smoker if ever this is taken
seriously. Likewise, with other situations.
Second, this would cause people to assume every
other circumstance to be in accordance to any
irrelevant outcomes assuming that it is possible as
they believe the fallacy. Usually, this roams around
like wildfire.
Fallacies, in its form, could make people worry too
much considering that it often connects one or
two circumstance which has no relevance to each
other. However, since not a lot of people could
understand it in its first view, this often happens.
This also causes unnecessary guilt which could
actually mean nothing if they will try to make
sense of the fallacy.
