The main objectives of lean and six sigma manufacturing is to improve the efficiency of
process and eliminating wastes in operation through efficiently and identify the continuous
improvement process with flow of the product/service by customer requested. VSM is a tool
that can be provided a visual picture of material and information flow throughout entire
organization. It helps to find the reduce of wastes as well as creation of effective flow.
(Wilson,2009).

LSS methodology has approached to implement the organization value by improve quality,
increase speed, customer satisfaction and cost benefits and it can contribute towards greater
sustainability in this industry (Laureani and Antony, 2012; Jeyaraman and Teo, 2010; Salah
et al., 2010).
