ADJECTIVES

ADJECTIVE + NOUN

Adjectives give information about a noun. They go before a noun or after


some verbs:

Examples:
1. Teacher (noun)
Nice (adjective)
my nice teacher
(adj) (noun)
She is my nice teacher.

2. Student (noun)
good (adjective)
her good student
(adj) (noun)
I am her good student.
3. Students (noun)
good (adjective)
her good students
(adj) (noun)
We are her good sutdents.

4. book (noun)
big (adjective)
my big books
(adj) (noun)
She is my nice teacher.

Please, notice that adjectives do not change from singular to plural:

- Good student (singular)


- Good students (plural)

Basic: He is
Short: He’s
Example: He is tall.
He’s tall.

Basic: She is
Short: She’s
Example: He is happy.
He’s happy.
