Product Description

Ecolab 55 is a liquid molybdate based closed system inhibitor blended with alkalinity, buffering
agents and organic heterocyclic copper inhibitor, designed to keep closed system free from corrosion
of it ferrous and copper components. It is recommended for the treatment of your chilled water
system.

ECOLAB ALKALINE CLEANER is a blend of alkalinity, dispersing and cleaning agents design for used
to remove mill scales, mud, silt, grease, grime, dirt, oils and microorganisms from steam generating
systems, condenser water systems and chilled water systems. In the case of systems heavily fouled with
mineral scales or metal deposits additional cleaning with Ecolab 61 and Ecolab 69 may be necessary.

Effects of Overexposure to Concentrate:
Eyes: Causes eye irritation and possible burns. May cause chemical conjunctivitis and corneal
damage.
Skin: Causes skin irritation and possible burns.
If Swallowed: HARMFUL OR FATAL. Causes chemical burns of mouth, throat and stomach.
If Inhaled: Not a primary route of exposure.

4. First Aid Measures


Eyes: Flush at once with cool running water. Remove contact lenses and continue flushing for 15
minutes, holding eyelids apart so as to rinse entire eye.
Skin: Immediately flush skin with plenty of cool running water for at least 15 minutes while
removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Discard or wash before reuse.
If Swallowed: Rinse mouth at once; then drink 1 or 2 large glasses of water. DO NOT induce vomiting.
NEVER give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
If Inhaled: Immediately move to fresh air.
