Product Description

Ecolab 55 is a liquid molybdate based closed system inhibitor blended with alkalinity, buffering
agents and organic heterocyclic copper inhibitor, designed to keep closed system free from corrosion
of it ferrous and copper components. It is recommended for the treatment of your chilled water
system.

ECOLAB ALKALINE CLEANER is a blend of alkalinity, dispersing and cleaning agents design for used
to remove mill scales, mud, silt, grease, grime, dirt, oils and microorganisms from steam generating
systems, condenser water systems and chilled water systems. In the case of systems heavily fouled with
mineral scales or metal deposits additional cleaning with Ecolab 61 and Ecolab 69 may be necessary.

PRE-REQUISITES
The proposed dosing system does not come with the following pre-requisites, which shall be provided
by M & E contractors;

At Chilled Water’s main headers :

½” gate valves : 1 at high-pressure header, 1 at the low-pressure header to be connected to the Pot
Feeder located at the Pot Feeder Station as described below.

Designated Auto Treatment Station :

The proposed feeder is wall-mounted and a reasonable easy access area of approx. 2m x 1.5m shall
be allotted on the wall preferably in a sheltered area. A concrete plinth of approx area of 2m x 1m
may be needed directly below the allotted wall space.

Ecolab Alkaline Cleaner is used to remove mill
scales, grime, dirt, oils and micro-organisms

minutes, holding eyelids apart so as to rinse entire eye.
Skin: Immediately flush skin with plenty of cool running water for at least 15 minutes while
removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Discard or wash before reuse.
If Swallowed: Rinse mouth at once; then drink 1 or 2 large glasses of water. DO NOT induce vomiting.
