Cambridge FinTech and Regulatory Innovation Programme

Dear Ambassador x

We are inviting you to join the inaugural launch of the Fintech and Regulatory Innovation (FTRI)
Programme in the Philippines on 23 rd November 2022 at 6:00pm at the Ambassadors’ Gala of the
FinTech Alliance Inclusion and Digital Transformation (INDX) Summit. This exciting new
programme will be delivered by the Mapua University and the FinTech Alliance.ph, and powered by the
Cambridge Centre of Alternative Finance, University of Cambridge Judge Business School.  This
initiative is the first off-campus Cambridge FinTech and Regulatory Innovation Programme by the
CCAF, University of Cambridge Judge Business School in the ASEAN region.

The FTRI is an 8-week online tutor-led programme for financial regulators and policymakers working in
central banks, securities commissions, financial authorities, development agencies, selected industry,
and government ministries. To date, the Cambridge programme has attracted over 1500+ participants
including central bank governors, senior officials, and specialists from over 145 countries worldwide.

Over the eight weeks, participants learn essential concepts concerning the technologies and business
models that are transforming the financial industry. The focus of the programme is on formulating
evidence-based regulatory, supervisory and policy responses to the development of financial
technology. The structure of the programme is illustrated in the diagram below:

The programme is delivered using an online asynchronous learning platform to share the programme
content with synchronous live guest sessions, live tutorial sessions and support with the development
of a capstone project. Participants are taught by leading economists, lawyers, engineers, regulators,
and development professionals in interactive online sessions.
The FTRI in the Philippines will be contextualized for the Philippines audience to maximize the impact
for financial authorities and industry participants alike, and we hope you find this programme to be
transformational in your understanding of technology-enabled financial innovation and regulatory
innovation.

Yours sincerely,
