What is MARXISM?
Marxism, a body of doctrine developed by Karl Marx and, to a lesser extent, by
Friedrich Engles in the mid-19th century. It originally consisted if the three related
ideas: a philosophical anthropology, a theory of history, and an economic and political
program. There is also Marxism as it has been understood and practiced by the
various socialist movements, particularly before 1914. Then there is Soviet Marxism as
worked out by Vladimir Ilich Lenin and modified by Marxism-Leninism became the
doctrine of the communist parties set up after the Russian Revolution.

Marxism also is a social, economic and political philosophy that analyses the impact of
the running class on the laborers, leading to uneven distribution of wealth and
privileges in the society. Feudalism where the struggle was between Landlords, owners
and the people who rented or used their land for agriculture. Method of socioeconomic
analysis that uses a materialist interpretation of historical development, better known
as historical materialism, to understand class relations and social conflict and a
dialectal perspective to view social transformation.

Marxism is also a rich vs. poor, it talks about a population who have money and don’t
have money. It compares the two because it discuss about money “may kaya” and
“walang kaya”. Marxism posits that the struggle between social classes—specifically
between the bourgeoisie, or capitalists, and the proletariat, or workers—defines
economic relations in a capitalist economy and will lead inevitably to a communist
revolution.
