 In DOC and progeny that infected by Salmonella enteritidis have unclear clinical sign and
non deadly, but became carrier that spreading the germ along with the faeces
 Treatment with antibiotic will not shown good result and have a high chance became
resistance
 The bactery is live intracellular and can not reached by antibiotic
 The bactery is live inside the gastrointestinal tract so hard to eradicate because was
entered the bile duct circulation that sometimes entering the lumen of intestinum then
excreted with faeces to the environment
 The bactery is staying alive inside the machrophage cells and disrupt the immune
system
 Non-activated with heat and humid 121o C for 15 minutes, and heat and dry 160 o C for 1
hours
 The bactery penetrate the wall of lumen intestinum caused inflammatory reaction,
penetrate the mucose then entered the lymphatic tract to the blood circulation and
became bacteremia or abses. The spreading of bactery could reach the reproductive
organ such as ovarium and oviduct,
 The infection of maternal ovarium will caused vertical route to the produced eggs (trans
ovarial infection) then the progeny would become Carriers

