Create your own Origami Dumbo!

Things you will need:
• Paper (6 inch square) • Bottle cap • Glue

Fold your 6 inch square paper evenly into a rectangle, unfold, then fold into a rectangle the other direction and unfold. Fold paper evenly into a triangle,

unfold, then fold into a triangle the other direction, making sure your corners meet as closely as possible. Hold the peak corners or your triangle together

while pinching the middle edge together as seen in figure 9 to create a 3 inch square as seen in figure 11. Fold the right outer flap over like in figure 12.

Unfold the flap gently and use your finger to open it up into a triangular pocket, and flatten it out like in figure 15.

Fold the outermost right and left sides in towards the middle crease line. Position your model like figure 25.

Make sure both sides of your model show 4 even folds, adjusting as needed. Fold your bottom tips up toward the top point to open up your model.

Flatten your model down well. Then, fold the two small side points in towards the middle like in figure 31–32. Turn your model over like in figure 33.

MAKING DUMBO’S EARS: Carefully pull the two middle folds out from the side like in figures 34–35. Then, repeat on the other side like figures 36–37.

SHAPE DUMBO’S HEAD by folding the top point back like in figures 38–39. SHAPE DUMBO’S TRUNK by folding it up and down at two points as shown.

MAKE DUMBO’S FEET STAND by folding each of your two bottom points up and into the sides like in figures 43–44, making sure they are even as shown.

PUT DUMBO ON STAGE: Apply a bead of hot glue to the top of your bottle cap. Immediately place the feet into the center of the glue and hold for 30 seconds.
