 A geographical organisational structure suits businesses that have offices or

units in different regions or geographical areas.
 It suits the needs of various groups and targets in multiple countries.
 Mostly suited to large companies like car manufacturer's as the vehicles
required in snowy geographic areas compared to those of which in mainland
Europe where it would not be as snowy meaning there would be a low
demand for a car with big, thick tires as the pavement is not covered in wet
snow.
 Depends on the local demand for that service.

Key activities of the marketing function:

-Product:

 Helping the customer know the functions of the product and how it can be used and
how it is superior to any competing products from other companies Aswell as the
benefits and advantages and how it suits their needs.

presentation to the customer and the quality of it.

Price:

 The manner in which the product is priced and the discounts and offers
available and how it will affect the customer like if they can't pay it all at once
you should have alternative payment arrangements like paying monthly with
or without a set amount of interest fees.
 Pricing strategy determined by the businesses position in the market if the
business is well developed and has much income, they can raise their prices
as their product is well respected and is liked by the customers and they
wouldn’t mind paying extra if the quality is good but if they don’t mind about
the quality then they would possibly find another seller.

Promotion:

 Making your product better known to any possible customers by targeting it to

people interested in stuff around your products and services.
 This is done through advertisements on billboards, tv, social platforms,
leaflets, newspapers and sponsorships.

worth conducting promotions to acquire them.

ways of getting the product to targeted key customers.
 It is important to consider how accessible the product or service is and
ensure that customers can easily find you. The product or service must be
available to customers at the right time, at the right place, and in the right
quantity.
 Where the business operates either online, physical store or through drop
shipping, these matters as it targets different audiences and how fast they
can access the product.
 The things sold due to the geographic location as the need for winter
coats is more needed in Ukraine as the weather is cold all year round
which raises the demand in the product whereas the demand for a winter
coat will be lower in a country like Spain as the average temperature is
much higher.

People:

 The manner in which your employees are perceived either through their
mannerisms and attire or their type of language.
 The people they target based on their location and average income Aswell
as the amount of people in a home as a company that is located in a low-
income environment, they would usually sell products and services of a
lower cost therefore making the quality poorer which is the way in which
people perceive it as they want them to be able to afford it. And if people
have a family they would make different sized products like a family pack
cereal and a small pack for people that are possibly living by themselves.
