Eli is a childhood friend of Niko, Andreas and Theo, he lives in Greece but is moving to the
United States because his father Alek Marcello has made him take over their tech company
(which is worldwide) to make him a responsible person. Eli decides to make VA Beach the new
location for the head office to be closer to his friends, who he consider to be like family.

He has no brothers, and is heir to his father’s Billions, but he has been a playboy most of his
life, a wild child that is not serious about much. He just turned 39 and on his birthday his father
gave him an ultimatum, to be married by 40 or lose his inheritance and the opulent lifestyle has
become accustomed to. Eli attends Theo’s wedding that was held in Greece, and that’s how he
meets Jacinda and likes her sassy personality. He is instantly attracted to her.

Jacinda is the oldest sister of Jessica and Jenna. Father is George St. Claire. Their mother died
in a car accident when a drunk driver hit her car. Jacinda has been holding the secret that she
blames herself because her mom went out that night to buy Jacinda medicine because she was
sick.

Jacinda is cynical about love, and most everything. She never planned to get married. She
doesn’t believe in happy endings.
When Eli moves to the States and gets to the States he convinces her to pretend to be his
fiance. He tells her since she doesn’t believe in true love, and isn’t planning on ever
getting married for love, what does she have to lose?

their bank. However if you want to put them haphazardly running into each
other prior to the take over it would need to be not too long ago and that can
be where the dislike Hope has for Theo starts.
