What is
Negritos?
Introduction
Indigenous people known as the Negritos are
said to have been the first people to settle in
Southeast Asia and some areas of the Pacific
Islands. The term "Negrito" is used to describe
their exterior look and is derived from the
Spanish word "negro," which meaning black.
The Negritos are one of the oldest human
populations in the world, In several nations
today, like the Philippines, Malaysia, and
Indonesia, the Negritos are a marginalized and
minority people. Many issues affect them,
including as discrimination, property disputes,
and limited access to healthcare and education..
They have evolved their own unique cultures
