Dear Mrs. Tessier,

Hope you are well. My name is Javelyn Mary Serrano Rivera, and I am writing to you to express my interest
for the Investigation Specialist position in Pharma Lex in Vega Baja, P.R. Even though one of the requirements
of the job is to have a bachelor’s degree in biology, I would like to take into consideration my years of study in
science and the knowledge acquired.

By now, I am in my third year of college, doing a Bachelor in Natural Sciences with a concentration in
Biomedical in the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce (UPRP). Upon the years in UPR I have gain laboratory
skills by different concentration courses, such as genetics, microbiology, and organic chemistry. I can assure
that with the basic knowledge that I gained in these different courses, I can execute tasks in a laboratory. In
addition, I am to taking a course of technical writing, and I consider that with this knowledge that I could write
technical and progress reports, if necessary.

I consider myself like a very responsible, organized, respectful, and honest person. I can work under pressure,
work in a team, and I am also willing to learn new things. I want to expand my knowledge and grow
professionally; you can trust that I am a person totally dedicated and passionate about work.
