Kali Uchis is an American singer of Colombian descent. She is twenty seven

years old and her fame was gained by the song drunken babble.

Lived all his childhood in Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia by his fathers family,
until he was seven years old when he returned to the United states.

as a young she was very social, she liked art and cinema and writing music,
her music beginnings were with musical instruments, for example the piano
and the saxophone y then she was living in a car for a long time, she had a
lot of time to write, before she wanted to be a film director but having so
many songs written she decided to be a singer.

Kali Uchis began his musical journey by releasing his first mixtape called
Drunken Babble, his genre spanning lo-fi and hip-hop. After that mixtape,
Kali met artists like Snoop Dogg, who collaborated with her on the song On
Tape.
A few years later, Kali is a well-known artist in the American market and has
been nominated for two Grammys for collaborations such as El Ratico with
Juanes.
In 2021, she becomes the first Colombian to win a non-Latin Grammy, with
the song 10%
She must be awarded because she is a great music artist, she loves music and
inspires people to love and be loved, also she is a very empathetic person
with Colombians and in some days (like days in the national strike of the
2021) she helps and supports social causes.
